I’m afraid that the quality of this Chorreador is below expectations. The stand is made from rather poorly finished pieces of wood. Some of the pieces still have bit of bark attached to a rough, non-square edge. There are small inconsistently sanded patches on the wood. The filter hoop may be made from non-food-safe metal. While performing the pre-use boiling of the filter and hoop, the metal leached a bluish color which lightly stained the seams. I’m afraid that while the stand may be usable, I will need to find replacement filters before using this item.
