Lots of love and healthy vibes from Costa Rica, for you and your loved ones.
There are no shortages of Britt products, although in some cases the inventory of certain products at our website might be temporarily low before restock. Café Britt coffee plantations, production, and manufacturing sites are widely dispersed throughout Costa Rica, and no widespread disruptions have been reported in our supply chain.
Currently there is no evidence of food containers or food packaging being associated with transmission of COVID-19. Like other viruses, it is possible that the virus that causes COVID-19 can survive on surfaces or objects. If you are concerned about contamination of food or food packaging, wash your hands after handling freshly arrived Britt packaging or containers.
Café Britt, we have a very strict routine by cleaning of all frequently touched surfaces in the workplace, such as work stations, counter tops, and doorknobs. Cleaning agents are usually used in these areas several times a day. Our establishments are regulated at a governmental level. Costa Rican food industry regulators use the Food Code published by the Costa Rican Ministry of Health to develop or update their own food safety rules. Generally, Costa Rican Ministry of Health-regulated food manufacturers are required to maintain clean facilities, including, as appropriate, clean and sanitized food contact surfaces, and to have food safety plans in place. Food safety plans include a hazards analysis and risk-based preventive controls and include procedures for maintaining clean and sanitized facilities and food contact surfaces.
The majority of our services continue with the same expected delivery time frames our customers have come to expect. We remain committed to providing timely and reliable service.
Our customer service and logistic teams are used to adapting to changing conditions, and we have developed contingency plans to address potential sources of disruption in our networks. Of course, we will comply with all US and Costa Rican government regulations and guidelines related to the containment of the novel coronavirus.
