My parents gave me these dark chocolate covered coffee beans and I think that they are sorry they did! I've been asking for them to buy more ever since! the beans have a great texture, great coffee taste and give you a nice caffeine boost! The chocolate...forget about it! the dark chocolate is rich and tasty. The combination of the two flavors are a magical party in your mouth that I didn't want to end. The slogan "once you pop, you can't stop" resoundingly applies to this bag of coffee-chocolate goodness!

5.0 Great blended in Frappe

I was visiting Costa Rica last summer and I absolutely love these amng many of Cafe Britt's products. I brought these home and blend them in a Frappe and what an amazing addition. They are even good blended in ice cream or alone. I am a BIG dark chocolate fan and love this product. Keep up the good work.

I LOVE these chocolate covered coffee beans! They are better than any others that I've tried. We all know that Cafe Britt coffee ROCKS but the chocolate that they've selected to cover their beans in is equally as awesome. Its a great combo, if you have a great bean & cover it in mediocre chocolate, its going to kill the bean. They do it right at Cafe Britt! I love to snack on these and give them as gifts as well. I really don't have any complaints other than the bag is just too small... I need more!

Both coffee and cacao beans have a long history in Costa Rica. Hundreds of years ago cacao beans were first used as currency by indigenous tribes. Before the introduction of coffee in the early 1700s, cacao was already a major crop in Costa Rica. Today, it is still grown in the lowlands where plenty of rainfall nurtures the trees.

Café Britt has combined these two beans that are not only native to our country but also universally adored by many. Café Britt espresso beans are carefully chosen by our coffee experts and then slow-roasted bringing the bean’s natural oils and sugar to the surface.
