A surprising combination of fresh mango, coconut and Habanero pepper. This salsa is delicious as a dip, a marinade or even a salad dressing. It goes very well with fish and shellfish, especially shrimp. Habanero, Jalapeño and Cayenne peppers are grown in the Costa Rican regions of Bagaces, Upala, Guápiles, Siquirres and Pocora at an altitude of 100 meters (328 feet) above sea level.

Ingredients: Fresh mango, sugar, water, orange juice, apple vinegar, dehydrated coconut, blackberry wine, starch, lemon juice, habanero pepper, paprika, ascorbic acid.
“Jambo” is a very special word in the East African language of Swahili. It’s both a friendly greeting and a courteous response. If an East African were to say to you, “Jambo?”, it would mean “How are you?”. And if you were to reply “Jambo” it would mean, “I am very well.” We think it also makes a fine brand. These are 100% Costa Rican products created for Café Britt under the strictest standards of quality. Wondering how they taste? You have only to say “Jambo” to answer your own question – very well!

The is the best salsa I have ever had. I use it in salad dressings, put it on apples with cheese. Eat it by the spoon full. [...]
This salsa adds delicious Caribbean flavor to your dishes! Fruity, spicy, sweet... Make sure to have an extra bottle on hand so you don't run out!
Mango Coconut Salsa is a perfect blend of fresh flavors that is not too hot. The salsa made an instant gourmet treat last night at a picnic when I poured a third of a cup over a pound of tiny Maine shrimp and added some diced fresh mango. Delicious!
We purchased several flavors of Cafe' Britt salsas during a recent trip. They are all great in flavor and content. I especially like the Mango Coconut Salsa. It goes well on chicken, pork chops, even hamburgers. It has a very lite taste with just a little kick. My only complaint is that the bottle is not big enough. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.
We love the coconut hot mango salsa! It's best slathered all over crispy, coconut crusted, grilled jumbo shrimp. My mouth is watering just thinking about it:-)Summer doesn't get any better then this.
I am looking forward to the opportuity to use this on the BBQ this summer; on chicken on shrimp. I have tried it on Pork Ribs in the oven - delicious! I have tried it on salad (which I had not intended when I bought it) and it adds such a unique flavor. It is not too hot; it actually 'gets you' after you have had it in your mouth. I will try other sauces that Cafe Britt has to offer now after this fabulous experience.
This Mango Coconut Hot salsa is a delicious combination of sweet and spice - guaranteed to make your meal memorable! The flavor is the perfect tropical accompaniment for your chicken dish. Once you taste this salsa, you'll be glad you bought two bottles!
