Brand:Café Britt

A gourmet coffee harvested to ensure biodiversity and harmony with nature, our Café Britt Pachamama deserves its namesake, the Quechua word for “Mother Earth”. Originating from plantations of the Quillabamba region in Peru, this coffee grows beneath the soft shade of native-species trees and is nourished by the region's own natural nutrients. This growing method preserves native flora and fauna, ensuring pure supplies of water and fertile soils for future generations of small-scale farmers.

Café Britt Pachamama is certified organic by international organizations.

All around light touch
By MacMahonVerified Reviewer from Santa Maria, CA on 7/23/2008
Pros:
Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Aroma, Pleasing Roast
Cons:
No morning thunder, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body
Best Uses:
Automatic Drip/Filter
Describe Yourself:
Average Joe, Socially/Environmentally Conscious
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I want to try using other methods than automatic drip with this coffee. I now find it to be a middle of the road flavor, very smooth but with no real high points (or low points either). Since many people prefer a coffee that is mellow, I would think that this coffee would become quite popular, especially among those interested in buying organic products.

On a trip to Costa Rica I had picked up a bunch of Shade Grown coffee, which was delicious. When I ran out I ordered online to restock the house. To my surprise Cafe Brit had so many to offer, I tried the Peru Pachamama Organic & it was awesome! It only Pachamama for me now!

Organic Pachamama is a great way to start your morning. The aroma and taste are the ideal start of the day as you collect your thoughts, meditate, and prepare yourself for the activities of the day. While this coffee is fresh and invigorating, it is not overpowering the stomach with caffeine.

I live in a city full of independent coffee houses. We never lack for options and I've tried them all. I still come back to the organics of Cafe Britt for their consistent flavor and roasts. It is my favorite home brew and something I look forward to every morning. Thanks!

I was very disappointed with this coffee. I've been enjoying the Cafe Britt Costa Rican coffees for over a year now, but this Peruvian coffee tasted like old Folgers.
