Being peruvian, I have been eating lucuma since I was a child, and there's no doubt that the best partner for this deliciously exotic fruit is chocolate. It's so great that it is actually not lucuma jelly, but dried lucuma, which keeps the taste of the fruit closer to the way it tastes fresh. If you guys liked this, don't miss the chance of trying lucuma mousse if possible.
These came as a marvelous surprise after the fruit jelly in the other chocolates. The freeze-dried lucuma is crispy to bite through, then the fruit flavour hits, melting in your mouth. The chocolate, as ever, is very good quality, and the perfect complement to the exotic fruity taste.
The taste of the fruit is not sweet, but has a unique quality of its own. The rich chocolate goes well with the lucuma. It is also very filling and is good for those who wish to cut back on their intake of sweets. A little goes a long way. Truly interesting.
If you know what LUCUMA tastes like you will bendoverbackwards for this little treasures....i loved them
WE like the guava, pineapple muuuch better.
This one tastes good, but the texture was not what we expected.
(Don't worry, we ate them anyway;)
Love it! Rich dark chocolate with a kick of the fruit in the middle. Not too sweet .
