I was visiting Costa Rica last summer and I absolutely love these amng many of Cafe Britt's products. I brought these home and blend them in a Frappe and what an amazing addition. They are even good blended in ice cream or alone. I am a BIG dark chocolate fan and love this product. Keep up the good work.
I LOVE these chocolate covered coffee beans! They are better than any others that I've tried. We all know that Cafe Britt coffee ROCKS but the chocolate that they've selected to cover their beans in is equally as awesome. Its a great combo, if you have a great bean & cover it in mediocre chocolate, its going to kill the bean. They do it right at Cafe Britt! I love to snack on these and give them as gifts as well. I really don't have any complaints other than the bag is just too small... I need more!
Smooth delicious chocolate covering a rich coffee bean. This truly is a little piece of heaven.
The dark chocolate covered beans are best eaten right out of the bag. The taste and texture is amazing. Overall one of the best I have had. Cafe Britt is in a league of their own!
Tried another company's version of chocolate-covered coffee beans that didn't compare at all. These are the perfect movie snack - refreshing but not so filling as to impair enjoyment of a meal or dessert before or after the movie.
Try tasting each coffee bean every bits... mmm a healthy and beautiful tatse.
As both a chocolate lover and a coffee lover, I had to try these and I love them! They only word of caution I have is not to overindulge, as they obviously do have caffeine and will give you a buzz. They are a delicious light snack, great to put out when entertaining or just for a quick little after lunch of afternoon snack, one or two are very satisfying after a meal. Also great gifts!

For a non-coffee drinker, it is just enough to hook you and give you a little boost on the go.
I distinctly remember the day when I stumbled across these pocket rockets.
Tired, jet-lagged and hungry, a few dollars in the pocket, sprung for a pack.
Within moments my tastebuds sprung into action. It was the perfect combination of smooth dark chocolate with a perfectly roasted coffee bean inside. Kapow!
While you only need a handful of these delectable delights to fulfil the craving, it’s easy to devour more.
These are addictive but in a good way. I love them so much I get them shipped to Australia.
I have tried chocolate covered beans at shops all over and these are the best. The chocolate has just enough sweetness to balance the bean.
Great for coffee lovers - great with vanilla ice cream and ice coffee.
I visited your facilities in Costa Rica several years ago as a part of a tour. I remembered your name. I first purchased these chocolate covered coffee beans at the airport in Lima,Peru at the beginning of a Peruvian Amazon trip. When I came through the airport on the way home, I bought all of the bags that they had. I was just in Brazil and couldn't find them, so ordered them online.
I am addicted. I will never again be without them. I was able to give up cigarettes and many cups of coffee a day, but this is an addiction that I won't ever try to break. Thank you for this wonderful product.
These are by far the best choco-covered coffee beans on the market today. The chocolate is smooth and the beans aren't hard to chew or too bitter as are some other brands.
I first had the good fortune of trying them after a friend brought them back from a trip to Costa Rica a few years ago. I couldn't remember the name, but I remembered where they were from and what the bag looked liked. A couple internet searches and voila! Not only did I find them online, but I didn't have to go to Costa Rica to get them! Excellent as gifts or for your desk at work (if you're willing to share)!
I think that it is probably not fair for me to write this review. I could not say one bad thing about these coffee beans. They were the best I have ever had and I have had plenty. It had been a while since I had any, but there is no doubt where i will make all of my future orders to.
My last order arrived poorly. It had melted and then solidified in a solid block of chocolate coffee beans. Used a hammer to break it up and while not quite as good as the seperate covered beans, it was tasty. When I reported the problem, customer services was quick to reply and made a good offer to correct the error. Yes, I will order more.
We first got these on our pillow at the Palace Resorts in Cancun. We tried to buy them there, but couldn't find them. So I brought one home with the web page on the wrapper, and ordered the bags after we got home. They came within 2 days!!!(That was free shipping when ordering 6!) They are just as wonderful as we remembered and only 6 calories a bean!! You won't be disappointed if you order these.

The best chocolate covered coffee bean I've ever had. The coffee roast blends perfectly with the dark chocolate flavor...not too sweet, and not too strong of a "coffee" flavor. It's the perfect snack.
Wow & here I thought The Del Rey & The Beatle Bar were great but the coffee, and the chocolate covered coffee beans are even better.(For those of you who know what I'm saying!!!)
When a friend of mine asked if I wanted one, I hesitated... a chocolate covered coffee bean??? I didnt know you could eat them whole? But after I tried it, I became hooked. It's a crunchy mocha blast with a little pick-me-up. I bought a bag for myself and several to give as gifts for family and friends. Everyone I gave them to just loved them.
These beans are the best, but we can't stop at one, and then we're up all night. We have to restrict our intake to a few and early in the day.
We started the addiction while visiting the Peace Lodge, a few km north of San Jose, then looked for them locally when we returned home. Finally went online and have renewed our "addiction".
My boss brought a bag of these in to the office for everyone to taste and share... I ate most of them. I love coffee and dark chocolate, so I just couldn't help myself! They are VERY GOOD!
I first picked up a bag of these in the airport on my way out of Costa Rica. That's right, I'd been in paradise for a week before I stumbled upon one of its tastiest treasures. The rest, as they say, is addiction!
Once a year, I treat myself to a few bags or these black beauties. And I'm not even a coffee drinker. Apparently, I'm a coffee eater. Rich and smooth, with the perfect balance of roastiness, bitterness and sweetness satisfies all my senses. Gorge on a large bag or get the 12 unit box of little pyramid bags - the perfectly sized snack to hide around the house or office.
A great way to start your day, end your evening or give you a midday boost. Truthfully, they're the perfect treat.
Eating these chocolates is the only appropriate way of reminding yourself of the beautiful country that they come from. Every time I bite into these, I think back to the amazing time I enjoyed in Costa Rica. Thankfully I don't have to wait until I go back again. These are the best chocolate covered coffee beans available!
We were exposed to these beans during a trip to Costa Rica. We were dismayed to find we couldn't order them during the summer, and tried lots of substitutes from other sources, local, mail order, just about anywhere. No other product had the wonderful smoothness and aroma of these chocolate-covered beans. We eat some every day at breakfast as a treat and as an eye-opener. They give us a reason to get up in the morning!
I just love dark chocolate, and it's perfectly complimented by the bitter but flavorful taste of the espresso beans.
I am not a big fan of dark chocolate but these are perfect with dark chocolate. I love the white chocolate ones also. We are giving 12 sample boxes away as Christmas presents.
Ok, Here's the deal, I do NOT live in Costa Rica. I repeat do NOT. My parents just returned from a weeklong trip and being the cheap latin people that they are, they brought me back four, I repeat FOUR small sample packs of chocolates. FOUR! (Two of these, and two of the guava ones). Now they refuse to purchase a bag online for their newly-addicted daughter. I guess what I am trying to say is only give this as a souveneer to people you really REALLY don't like/love because they will have but a small taste of heaven and it will be over before they realize it. A few seconds after they will begin to crave it, conclusively, they will be at your mercy FOREVER. Deprivation of this candy only causes conflict and insanity. If you are going to bring these back for somebody you love, make sure it's a large enough quantity that they can have at least three pieces a day until you get them another bag. *sigh*
I will now go on to devour my last two packets of chocolaty goodness.
