Café Britt is a globally recognized leader within the specialty coffee industry and one of the only coffee companies in the world with the ability to monitor and account for every step in the coffee producing process. We can track a bag of coffee right to the farm where it was harvested. We work hand in hand with small growers to implement sustainable, fair trade practices. As a country-of-origin roaster, we harvest only 100% SHB (Strictly Hard Bean) grown at altitudes above 1,300 meters above sea level. We hand-pick, sun dry and roast in small batches only the choicest beans and ship them fresh right from our plantations. And we are fully committed to quality. Café Britt certifications in ISO 9000 Quality, ISO 14000 Environmental, Organic and BASC standards, allow us to constantly monitor and improve our services and products, thus assuring 100% satisfaction.

I've been buying our coffee this way for a couple of years now. We drink coffee every day, some times all day and this is a great way to buy according to what we've used. Sometimes a 50/50 split between regular and espresso will work, sometimes 70/30. It's great to be able to include different roasts so I have it available for company too.
I have started two people in Maine that just love the coffee
Our family has been ordering this case deal ever since we went to Costa Rica and toured the Cafe Britt coffee plantation 4 years ago. This is by far the best deal and you would think it's a lot of coffee for one household... but we drink this stuff non-stop! It doesn't matter what time of the day it is, somebody is making coffee and drinking it (dark roast)! The thing about Cafe Britt coffee is that it doesn't taste bitter and it doesn't have a bad aftertaste like too many other coffees out there. The service offered at Cafe Britt is also top notch. Coffee 24/7 hurrah!
This is a delicious coffee that fits my tastes. Don't change anything.
I discovered Cafe Britt thru my uncle who had visited the plantation on a vacation. [...] I've tried Jamaican and Hawaiian coffees and some small roasters in the States, and I always come back to Cafe Britt. I usually give away the remainder of the other brands. Good value and good taste, that's what it is all about with coffee. The large coffee chains have nothing over Cafe Britt. Always the best!
All the coffees that I purchased are smooth, and have their own unique qualities.
We mix dark roast, light roast and terrazu together for what we feel is the best ratio for taste and caffene fix.
We have different tastes in our house. Some days it's dark roast, some days regular. On all days it's espresso too! This is the best way to purchase a variety and I have an easy way to introduce Cafe Britt to new people.
Great flavor and aroma!
This coffee is the best! Makes smooth rich espresso. We also use it in a French press coffee maker if we're serving more than two. Our guests have commented on how good our coffeee is. AND it's ORGANIC. Can't beat that.
Cafe Britt has also been a breeze to deal with - website is easy to use, shipments arrive earlier than expected, the one time in seven orders that I've need to contact customer service, they were like Girl Scouts - helpful, cheerful, courteous, responsive...
We have found Cafe Britt to be an outstanding value for a vary good coffee. Easily compares to the best of the name brand coffree houses and stores.
I enjoy every cup of my morning coffee. Aside from the quality, the delivery is so prompt. Every morning I am reminded of my wonderful visit to Costa Rica. By ordering your coffee, I feel like I continue to have a connection to your country.
My husband and I came to COsta RIca for our honeymoon and loved the coffee so much that we ordered some to have at home and to share as Christmas gifts.
After visiting Cafe Britt in Costa Rica we purchased a coffee press and have had nothing but Cafe Britt coffee in 2 years. The shade-grown organic coffee is not only delicious, we feel good about the fact that it is grown without the use of pesticides.[...]
Use Cafe Britt everyday. Sent some to son in Iraq to share with his soldiers.
I brew my coffee into a thermal carafe. That way it doesn't over cook and stays fresh to the last drop.
My Mom and I found the Cafe Brit coffe while on a Celebrity cruise to South America. From the moment we tasted it, we knew it was the coffe for us! The best thing about it, is that the taste is consistent from bag to bag! Delicious cup after delicious cup! Truly a tempting taste for your senses that wake you up every morning and make you happy! Is that possible? It simply makes you happy to drink it and it reminds me of my great time when I was with my Mom! I drink it every morning and even have my work using it now! Because of its smooth taste and great aroma, I will never use another coffee! Period!
While visiting Costa Rica, my husband and I stayed at the Four Seasons. We were very tired when we arrived so we took a nap before going out that evening. After the nap, we brewed the coffee in the room. It was wonderful. We were both so impressed - we love coffee and felt this was the best we ever had. While in Costa Rica we tasted other coffees, but none of the coffees were as good as Cafe Britt - Tarrazu Montecielo is our favorite, but we also like the decaf and organic blend. We often give bags of coffee to our friends and they all rave about how good it is. We buy it by the case and now spend much less - Peets, Starbucks and Seattle's Best all cost quite a bit more.
consistently great flavor and can never go wrong when serving to family & friends
It's the first thing I go to when I get up. I have a cup next to me as I get ready for work. I take a thermos to work everyday even though there's a coffee shop about 100 feet away from me.
On the weekend Sunday morning specifically my husband and I drink some in bed and catch up on what went on the week before or the week coming up. I guess my life revolves around it.
I went to Costa Rica and did the tour as well, but this has been the best coffee I have ever tasted. [...] Even the green tea was wonderful! TRY IT! You won't be disappointed!
My husband & I have tried all the Cafe Britt kinds of coffee and have decided we like the Tarrazu and the Poas the best. Both have a good robust nutty flavor, but no oily bitter aftertaste like many of the African coffees. The roasting of these particular beans adds a very subtle sweetness to the flavors. I am sure that the environment in which the beans are grown affect the overall taste and quality, but as I am not that educated on such matters, I won't render an opinion. We basically want a coffee we can drink all day long and enjoy every cup. We have found that in Cafe Britt products.
This coffee is so good that I become depressed if I run out and have to drink regular supermarket coffee.
Drinking Cafe Britt is like having a cup of Costa Rican sunshine. I first tried Cafe Britt in Costa Rica, where I lived for 6 years. I brought back an entire suitcase of Dark and Light Roast when I returned to the States. I was thrilled to discover I could actually buy it on-line!
This is the best coffee I've ever had. Our family likes a good stout cup of coffee and no matter how strong I brew the Cafe' Britt coffee, it's ALWAYS smooth and NEVER bitter
