In 2001, I stopped at the Cafe Britt plantation in Costa Rica while on a cruise from Florida to San Diego via the Panama Canal. One sample of the coffee and I was sold. I have purchased it regularly ever since. It is great coffee for great value from a great company that provides great service. Stopping by Cafe Britt made the cruise the best trip ever.

My sister's friend Kimberly, lives in Costa Rica. Ever since Kim brought some of your coffee back home with her on a visit, I fell in love with your coffee and refuse to drink any but your coffee. In fact as soon as your first case came to my door, I threw out whatever other brands I had in the house. Your coffee is the only one I'll ever serve. I even bring it with me to a party, so that the host of other parties can serve it to others. They too, fall in love with your coffee and have to have it. I've personally turned seven of my closest friends into avid Cafe Britt lovers also. They too will only use your coffee. With the convenience of door to door delivery, how could anyone go wrong in ordering your coffee; it's usually at my door within days of ordering. I always buy Cafe Britt by the case of 20, and pass it out to my new friends, who love it too. I'll never drink another brand of coffee other than Cafe Britt. I, and my friends support you 200%. Keep up the good work. Here in Minnesota where the temperture dips to 40 below zero, we love your coffee, especially on cold winter mornings, and we could never live without it. I only wish it was sold locally in my store, but then it wouldn't be as freash as it is when you ship it to me direct from the factory.
I thank God that somebody finially produced a great cup of coffee that doesn't have a bitter aftertast.

This Dark Roast coffee is the best way to begin the day. The aroma of it brewing puts a smile on your face. Every time we have shared it with friends, they have asked for the web address. From the first time I smelled this coffee brewing at a friend's house, I knew it had to be something special. I recently went to the Dominican, but didn't bring their coffee back, because I had Cafe Britt's Dark Roast at home waiting for me!!! The best coffee I ever tasted. I will not buy any other coffee ever again. This is my indulgence, if nothing else! [...] unbelievably the finest coffee anywhere, what else can you ask for?
after visiting costa rico this fall, the one thing we found we could not return without was this coffee. we have consumed the other cafe britt brews but this is our favourite for our morning get up and go!

I never use any other brand. I first tasted cafeBritt on a visit to the factory in 2005,and ordered a delivery back home there and then! In my opinion this brand cannot be beaten. Also delivery to UK is reliable and takes only a few days. If you've never tried it before order a selection and discover the one that suits you best. All the ones I've tried have been excellent (including decaff which from many manufacturers can be very disappointing).

I came to Costa Rica in 2004 and took a tour through Cafe Britt's factory, I was so impressed with all of the fine coffees and candies. Once I tried them I was hooked. I have ordered this coffee ever since. I have shared it with all of my friends and co-workers and they too agree with me that it is the best coffee they have ever enjoyed. The candies are wonderful too.

This coffee would be expected at a 5 Star/Diamond restaurant or prestigious country club. I visited Costa Rica a few years ago and fell in love with Cafe Britt. I have had my coffee shipped every month or so on a consistent basis since I have not found a comparable match. Best in class!

I love this coffee because it is the perfect blend of taste, strength, and richness without being too acidic. It's easy to forget how many cups I've had because it doesn't burn my stomach like many other coffee types and brands. It's also not too expensive so you can really enjoy it and have more than one cup without worrying about buying more.

We tasted this coffee during a Celebrity Cruise that included a port call in Costa Rica. For reasons beyond control, we were unable to make the stop. Thankfully, we had gone to a "coffee tasting" seminar and became familar with the available offerings and had already placed an order for 20 bags of Costa Rica Dark Roast by Cafe Britt. We've brewed nothing else in our home since. We may have missed the visit to Costa Rica, but we ended up with a remarkable source for coffee for years to come.... (I must add that delivery service is always prompt and exact to order!)

Visited Cafe Britt in Costa Rica 2 years ago. Tried and loved your coffees. Yet, after tasting all varieties, we drink only Cafe Britt Dark Roast (mixed 50/50 with CB decaf). It is simply the best coffee we've ever had.

I put on a pot of coffee first thing in the morning and can't wait until it's ready. The aroma is intoxicating and flavor is wonderful.
My husband and I began buying Cafe Britt Dark Roast after our visit to the plantation in January 2004. We only drink Cafe Britt Coffee now. Nothing compares. When my husband was on his way home from Costa Rica, he was waiting in the airport when someone offered him a taste of your delicious coffee. He told the woman he didn't need to taste it. When she asked why, he replied that he gets to taste it every morning when he wakes up...because that is all we drink. Forget about the taste, the aroma is amazing. We once bought a case of Cafe Britt. It was delivered within 2 or 3 days (which is amazing in of itself). The driver of the delivery truck came to my door and said he had a package and almost didn't give it to me. He said it smelled so delicious, he really wanted to keep it for himself. My bride and I discovered Costa Rican Coffee and Cafe Britt on our Wedding/Honeymoon trip to Costa Rica. After a week of wonderful coffee wherever we ordered a cup, we found that the best of the local coffee seemed to be Cafe Britt. Before leaving the country, we filled our suitcases with Cafe Britt. Not until we got home did we realize that we could order it through their website. We have been buying from them almost exclusively since 2001. This is the finest, smoothest coffee I've ever had, and I've tried them all. it is almost impossible to brew it too strong, it never gets bitter, even with twice the recommended proportions. IMHO, Cafe Britt is the finest coffee on the planet.

We first experienced Cafe Britt on Royal Caribbean(Panama Cruise). Our room stewardess was from Costa Rica and when I asked her for a product that I could take home with me, she suggested the coffee. What a wonderful suggestion!!
I made the mistake of ordering a box of coffee and gave bags as gifts. I now have quite a following of coffee drinkers who always want to know when I am going to order. If I don't put in another order soon, I am going to be faced with some mighty unhappy people.

Since visiting Costa Rica several years ago and being introduced to Cafe Britt Dark Roast my wife and I have not started a day without this excellent full-bodied coffee. Whether you make it strong to get going in the morning or light for after dinner it is never bitter. It is always a great cup of coffee. Being certified "Fair Trade" is a real bonus. I had always been an on again off again coffee drinker until I went down to Costa Rica. About 7 years ago, my father moved down to Costa Rica, near Playa Dominical. I went down to visit him right after 9/11. I went down to get away from life and relax. When I was coming home, I stopped in the airport and picked up 5 or 6 bags of dark roast. I fell in love with this product. I was no longer an on again off again coffee drinker. This coffee has such a strong, robust taste. I have tried the columbian dark roasts and the 100% french roasts by others. No matter how strong I tried to make my coffee with these other products, it would alway turn out bad. It would end up being bitter and harsh. Besides the great flavor this coffee has I continue to buy it for sentimental reasons. 3 years ago my father died in his home in Costa Rica. Besides a few pictures, I have nothing of his. Although it may seem silly, continuing to buy this coffee is my way of having him close to me. If it wasn't for my father retiring in Costa Rica, I would have never found this delicious coffee. My husband Frank and I visited Costa Rica for the first time in Jan of 05. One of the first things we did was do the tour of your coffee plantation which also included a very tasty lunch. We purchased coffed and had it shipped back home. We were sorry afterwards we didn't purchase more as we ended up sharing with family and friends. We couldn't say enough good things about the coffee. We like the full body flavor and the thing we both said the most was it was the smoothest coffee we had ever had. There was no bitter taste at all. We came home from our trip and started planning our 2nd trip to come back. The 2nd trip we were going to stay longer as we wanted to go back and visit some of the same places but also wanted to see new places. Again one of our frist stopw was going to be Cafe Britt. We had everything set up and bags packed ready to go. Two days before we were to leave Frank got sick and we had to cancel everything. We kept saying we would do it when he got better. A couple months later Frank had to have surgery and never returned home from the hospital. He passed away 15 days later. I have since been ordering coffee on line so I can have my good coffee and also it brings back so many good memories of Frank and our trip to Costa Rica. Frank and I had done alot of traveling in the 3 years were were married and I always told him the one to Costa Rica was the best. Thank you so much for giving me such good memories with Frank.

The first time I tried Britt coffee was on a trip to Costa Rica. Never have I tasted such a great tasting coffee. Great black or with your favorite additions. I tried finding the same flavor in other brands on my return to Canada and could find none that compare. Thank you for the ability to order this #1 coffee on line.

I first experienced Cafe Britt when I took a Panama Canal cruise that included Costa Rica. I always purchase coffee and wine in other countries to try when I get home. The coffee was so good I wished I'd got more. That was in 1999. In 2007 a friend went to Costa Rica and came back raving about this coffee he had found - it was Cafe Britt! He told me about the web site and I placed my order.

This is an amazing cup of coffee. I first tried it at the Four Seasons in Costa Rica. I was blown away and have been purchasing it ever since. It is surprisingly smooth yet incredibly robust. Enjoy.

In Nov of 1999 we visited your sales shop at Jaulares near Volcano Poás National Park in Costa Rica and sampled your coffee. Your dark roast favor was a hit with us and we took home several packages. Since then we continue to use nothing but Café Britt dark roast whole bean coffee at our home. Our friends continue to remark at the great flavor of the coffee that we serve them. I am always happy to share with them that Café Britt coffee was the source of that good flavor. Several of our friends have since included Café Britt as their source for good coffee. Costa Rican coffee is pure bliss. In comparison, coffee purchased in Canadian stores tastes watered down and bland. I normally drink Cafe Britt with a little bit of milk but it also tastes great with nothing added.

We were in Costa rica 2 years ago, and was shopping for coffee in one of the local stores there. We were looking for selections to bring home for ourselves and for friends.We had found Cafe`Britt on the shelves there and had selected the Dark Roast, plus some of the others. But could not find any of your Decaf. We had found one of the company representatives, and was asking her if there was any there. As we wwere asking, the owner, David came around from the other side. He introduced himself to us, and then asked her why it wasn't on the shelves. Anyway, he invited us out to the Cafe Britt's coffee plant and to the store, even though it was close to closing time. He met us there and saw to it we were allowed to come in and shop at our leisure. We were so impressed with him and the company. Plus we were introduced to this wonderful coffee!!

I was introduced to the Dark Roast a couple of years ago when a friend brought me a taste from a Costa Rican trip. I have refused loyalty to any other coffee bean since! I have tried them all and cannot even begin to pick a favorite. They all have redeeming qualities for drinking pleasure. Thank you for giving me a reason to get out of bed in the morning!
