This privacy policy is intended to inform you about PowerReviews'("PowerReviews", "we", "us", or "our") collection, use, and disclosure of information that we receive through the software and advertising services ("Services") that we provide on third party websites of our Clients (the "PowerReviews Network"), through our corporate website, www.powerreviews.com ("Website"), and through the business applications offered on the Website ("BizApps"). We collect information from visitors to the PowerReviews Network, the users of the BizApps, and visitors to the Website (collectively "Consumers").

1.       Overview

a.       The Services help our Clients engage with Consumers during the buying process, gather and display product feedback from Consumers to drive purchase decisions, and analyze and act upon that Consumer feedback. 2.       Information We Collect Through the PowerReviews Network

a.       Information You Submit

                                                     i.     User Generated Content. As part of our Services to our Clients, we provide Consumers the ability to submit reviews, comment on or rate goods, products and services on websites within the PowerReviews Network (collectively, "User Generated Content"). You should be aware that any information you provide in the area that is intended to collect such User Generated Content will be published on a publicly facing website and will be read, collected, and used by PowerReviews, its subsidiaries, vendors and Clients. Therefore, please do not include any information within these areas that you do not want to share with the general public, including personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address or financial information. PowerReviews uses User Generated Content for providing the Services to our Clients, marketing research, new product development, to personalize or improve our Services, and for analytical purposes.

                                                    ii.     Consumer Account Info. In order to submit User Generated Content, you will have to create an account with the PowerReviews Client whose products, services or goods you are reviewing or rating. During the course of creating an account, you may be asked to submit information, such as but not limited to, your name, email address, mailing address or phone number, and other data (collectively, "Consumer Account Info"). The Consumer Account Info may be collected by both PowerReviews and the applicable PowerReviews Client. PowerReviews uses Consumer Account Info to assist with the creation of an account, provide you the ability to review, comment on or rate products, or otherwise create content across Client websites on the PowerReviews Network.

                                                   iii.     How PowerReviews' Clients Use User Generated Content and Consumer Account Info. To further understand how the PowerReviews Client to whom you have submitted User Generated Content and Consumer Account Info will use such data, please consult the terms and conditions on that Client's website (e.g. the privacy policy).

b.      Cookies and Other Technologies

                                                     i.     We use cookies, web beacons and other technologies to collect information from Consumers on the PowerReviews Network. Our technologies may collect the IP address of your computer, the pages you visit within the PowerReviews Network, the date and time of your visit, browser type and version and other click-stream data (collectively "Analytics and Tracking Data"). We use the Analytics and Tracking Data to operate the Services, enable the submission of User Generated Content, to enable anonymous analytics and measurement reporting. i

                                                    ii.     Types of Technologies on the PowerReviews Network.

1.       Web Beacons. Web beacons are small, graphic images on web pages or web-based documents or in email messages. We use web beacons in order to, determine the usefulness of the information our Services provide and to analyze general user traffic patterns.

c.       Correcting, Updating or Deleting Your Information

                                                     i.     If you would like to access, correct, amend, or delete Consumer Account Info or User Generated Content submitted through a Client, please contact that Client directly. If our Client requests us to update or remove your information from our systems, we will respond to their request within thirty (30) days. If you would like to access, correct, amend or delete any of your personally identifiable information held by PowerReviews, please contact us using one of the methods listed in this policy.

 

3.       Information We Collect Through the Website

a.       Information You Submit

                                                     i.     There are various areas on the Website where you have the opportunity to provide us with information. For example, you may submit your name, email address, or phone number if you contact us or request information about PowerReviews or our Services. We will use the information we collect on the Website to respond to your inquiries, provide you with the requested service or information, send you marketing communications, or improve the Website.

                                                    ii.     If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for your friend's email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. We do not store this information for future purposes.

We will use the information we collect through the BizApps to respond to your inquiries, provide you with the requested service or information, send you marketing communications, or improve our website and the BizApps.

a.       If you submit a testimonial to the Website, we will post your testimonial along with your name. Any testimonial you submit is subject to the submission terms and conditions that were presented at the time of submission. d.      Cookies set by PowerReviews on the PowerReviews Network. PowerReviews does not set any session cookies on the PowerReviews Network, only persistent cookies.
