Kona, look out! If you've ever had Kona cofee, you need to try the Poas Volcanic Earth. This is one great coffee! It is almost impossible to mess it up. We use one teaspoon per cup and it comes out great every time! If you are looking for a coffee that is smooth and distinct with a strong flavor. This is it! Do yourself a flavor and try this coffee if you like coffee you'll love the Poas volcanic earth!

5.0 DARK AND RICH

This is a dark roast bean, that can be made strong or weak and still be able to enjoy the robust flavor and aroma. It has a strong character, that does not get lost when used with the new flavored creamers. You can get an "almost" expresso quality by using extra beans. I like it in the morning to get me up and going, and in the afternoon, "with flavored creamer" for a relaxing treat. The only thing wrong is that a bag doesn't last long enough.

Our love affair with Costa Rican coffeee began last year with a three week excursion through the country....the visit proved to be an epiphany for my wife who up until then was NOT a coffee lover, always defaulting to the bland world of tea..Britt has changed all that and having loaded up with as much as we could carry back we have also since ordered...Poas remains our favourite but we haven't met a bad Costa Rican coffe yet....AMBOSIA !!!!..Pura Vida..from your friends in Canada
