Our Mérito Montecielo comes from a plantation in the town of Monteverde, located above the coastal areas of Costa Rica, where the cloud forests, coffee plantations, mist, and thousands of species and plants collide.
The coffee cherries are washed and pulped before being laid out to dry under the bright Costa Rican sun. High altitudes and volcanic soils create unique conditions that give this coffee a balanced sweetness with hints of lemon.
The persisting effort and dedication of our producer Don Eliecer, with more than 40 years of expertise, make for an exceptional coffee like this one.
