It is located in the Valle del Guarco, in the central region of Costa Rica at an altitude of 4708 ft, on the slopes of the Irazú Volcano. It has a humid tropical weather, modified by the height and the presence of mountains. The fertile soils, of volcanic origin, are favorable for the development of the plantations, this promotes a good distribution of the roots of the coffee plants, which retain moisture and facilitate oxygenation. This combination of features provides vitality to the plant and is one of the factors that contribute to the exceptional flavor of this gourmet coffee.
