These beans are the best, but we can't stop at one, and then we're up all night. We have to restrict our intake to a few and early in the day. We started the addiction while visiting the Peace Lodge, a few km north of San Jose, then looked for them locally when we returned home. Finally went online and have renewed our "addiction".

Eating these chocolates is the only appropriate way of reminding yourself of the beautiful country that they come from. Every time I bite into these, I think back to the amazing time I enjoyed in Costa Rica. Thankfully I don't have to wait until I go back again. We were exposed to these beans during a trip to Costa Rica. We were dismayed to find we couldn't order them during the summer, and tried lots of substitutes from other sources, local, mail order, just about anywhere. No other product had the wonderful smoothness and aroma of these chocolate-covered beans. We eat some every day at breakfast as a treat and as an eye-opener.
