5.0 The best

I just love dark chocolate, and it's perfectly complimented by the bitter but flavorful taste of the espresso beans.

5.0 Unfair Souvenirs from Heaven

by Chocoholics Annonymus- Laura from Miami, Fl on Oct 29, 2007

Ok, Here's the deal, I do NOT live in Costa Rica. I repeat do NOT. My parents just returned from a weeklong trip and being the cheap latin people that they are, they brought me back four, I repeat FOUR small sample packs of chocolates. FOUR! (Two of these, and two of the guava ones). Now they refuse to purchase a bag online for their newly-addicted daughter. I guess what I am trying to say is only give this as a souveneer to people you really REALLY don't like/love because they will have but a small taste of heaven and it will be over before they realize it. A few seconds after they will begin to crave it, conclusively, they will be at your mercy FOREVER. Deprivation of this candy only causes conflict and insanity. If you are going to bring these back for somebody you love, make sure it's a large enough quantity that they can have at least three pieces a day until you get them another bag. *sigh* I will now go on to devour my last two packets of chocolaty goodness.

Product Detail

Share our passion for coffee! Café Britt 100% gourmet Costa Rican coffee beans are carefully espresso roasted and delicately dipped in creamy dark chocolate. Our coffee’s enticing aroma and the crunchy texture of our coffee beans complement the velvety chocolate flavor for a cheering sensation that lights up your palate.

Chocolate Connoisseur

Both coffee and cacao beans have a long history in Costa Rica. Hundreds of years ago cacao beans were first used as currency by indigenous tribes. Before the introduction of coffee in the early 1700s, cacao was already a major crop in Costa Rica. Today, it is still grown in the lowlands where plenty of rainfall nurtures the trees.

Café Britt has combined these two beans that are not only native to our country but also universally adored by many. Café Britt espresso beans are carefully chosen by our coffee experts and then slow-roasted bringing the bean’s natural oils and sugar to the surface. The roasted bean is then coated in creamy dark chocolate.

Coffee and chocolate lovers will be doubly satisfied with this taste experience – two Costa Rican treasures at once.
