We have tried many different brands of coffee over the years, but my husband and I both agree that the shade grown Costa Rican is a superb bean, perfectly roasted and a great value. We order it by the case and have even sent a case to my mother and sister as a gift. Now they are hooked! Thank you Cafe Britt :)

We love the Organic Britt Coffee from Costa Rica. It smells great and tastes great. We grind the beans at home and brew fresh coffee every morning. Great taste. It is a little bit expensive but worth it...

5.0 Costa Rica's beauty in a coffee

Every time I drink this coffee, I reminisce about my time spent in Costa Rica. I especially enjoy its rich, earthy flavour on a cold, Saturday morning as it brings Costa Rica's warmth and charm to Canada. All other coffees that I have tried pale in comparison. In my experience, this coffee has had the power to even convert those who do not consider themselves coffee drinkers!

Café Britt has been cultivating and processing certified organic coffee since 1991. Dark roasted, Café Britt Organic is harvested from plantations that use 100% organic materials to improve and fertilize the soil. In this way, soil quality is ensured, and ground water protected. The coffee bushes flourish under the shady embrace of native tree species, which increases the plantation’s biodiversity by attracting migrating birds and other animals. We combine coffees from four key growing regions to craft this remarkable blend. The Central Valley produces an especially hard-bean coffee for year-round consistent flavor. The elongated beans of the West Valley ensure a balanced cup. The beans of Orosi add a lighter note, and those from the Brunca region contribute a fresh, lively taste.

The dark roast brings out a strong flavor with hints of laurel and apple. It stimulates the palate and eases the conscience – only the best environmental practices are present in every bag.
