I traveled to Costa Rica several years ago on a surf trip. In the tour books, it said Costa Rica was known for their coffee and to buy lots of it so I followed their advice. I drank it in Costa Rica and have been drinking it at home since. I filled a duffle bag with it and brought it home to share. Thank goodness Cafe Britt put their website address on the bags, otherwise I would have been bummed to have run out before thinking to look on the internet. I have been ordering coffee from them since, usually 2 cases at a time. I love turning my friends on to simply the best coffee I have ever had. This coffee is good at any time of day. The aroma is outstanding, the smoothness simply cannot be missed and the finish is superb. Thank goodness I don't have to shop around for a decent coffee anymore. Starbucks was taking over here and their coffee is so burnt!

We bought this coffee when in St. Maarten and loved it. Our travel companions also fell in love with Tres Rios. When we came home, I looked in all of the stores - thinking I would find it. When I failed, I went on a "Google" mission and found this site. I purchased the coffee for myself and my travel companions as a Christmas present. I knew it would be a hit - and it was! Very bold AND smooth taste in one cup.

We were introduced to Cafe Britt in 2003 aboard the Brillance of the Seas on our Panama Canal cruise - Royal Caribbean had a special promotion at the time. We had been buying Tarrazu from a local grocery that had discontinued selling Costa Rican Coffee so this was a real treat for us. My wife has a sensitive stomach and most coffee bothers her but Cafe Britt was an exception. In fact with Cafe Britt both of us have been able to enjoy our coffee either black or with some creaam and no sugar. While this review is about Tres Rios - we usually order our 20 bag assortment with Tarrazu and Light Roast. Just the simple act of grinding the beans fills our house with an almost Hypnotic aroma - and of course once ground we just have to have a pot brewed. We often give our friends a bag or two for christmas and they enjoy it as much as we do. If I had a wish it would be that Cafe Britt would sell "Tassimo Pods" so we could brew it a cup at a time

I was a coffee-hater until a friend introduced me to Cafe Britt coffee. At first, my husband and I enjoyed the Dark Roast blend, but when Tres Rios Valdivia became available, we tried it, and were instantly hooked. The Tres Rios has a wonderful rich aroma and flavor, but is smooth; never harsh and never bitter. It really is accurate to compare this coffee to a fine wine: the depth of flavor in this coffee is unmatched by anything we have ever tried.

My brother in law was a pilot and brought the coffee home. I was hurt badly in an accident and had to recover for a couple years - and I found your company on the internet. I'd never tried the tres rios so ordered it. I really think that having something this high quality on hand speeded up my recovery - no kidding. It just made me feel grand having something with this aroma and flavor on hand - for myself and my visitors.
