A great cup of coffee!!! There is nothing quite like it; I call it my, "nectar from the gods" and enjoy it every morning.

Our first Cafe Britt coffee was the Organic Shade Grown -- just love it. It's what got us interested in Cafe Britt. Thanks to the great reviews and the product description and connoisseur review, we tried this one. It is as all said--I couldn't write more accurate reviews. It now ties for first place with the Organic Shade Grown. The Organic Shade is a great full -bodied all-purpose coffee that will go with everything, and hold up especially well with sweet desserts. I'll turn, however, to the Tres Rios for when I want to savor solely a cup of coffee and taste as much of it's complexity as possible. We bought a hand grinder to get the maximum flavor out of it. We also tried the Light Roast and the Decaf. All are absolutely terrific, the best in their respective classes. The Organic Shade Grown is definitely the richest in taste, with wonderful caramel notes. Lastly, I use Chemex filters for some coffees, especially if they're a bit bitter or too dark, but I do not use the Chemex filters with this coffee. I want all the flavor to come through, it's that good.

Brew it strong at the right temp and it's wonderful; consistent, full and complex

This is the best of all the coffees Britt offers. I have tried most of them and keep coming back to Tres Rios Valdivia Coffee. The others are great too, but there is something very special about this one. It is special treat to sit with the Sunday paper and a big cup of Tres Rios Valdivia. You may become just as addicted as I have become.
