5.0 Best Way to Start Our Day

Since our trip to Costa Rica this past winter, we have ordered this coffee and start our day with it everyday! It is so nice to drink a cup of coffee without a bitter after taste. We look forward to our first cup of the best coffee inthe morning. We have continued to purchase this on line and have shared it with our family and friends.

5.0 Memories of Costa Rica to share forever

March of 2012 I went to Costa Rica for the first time and took the Britt Coffee Lover's Tour. Not knowing exactly which coffee I wanted I bought a variety of 8 bags. All of which were really good! The one I'm enjoying the most is the Tarrazu. I think your best all round coffee for all needs. I think too, I love it because of the packaging. I reminds me so much of the beautiful mountains of Costa Rica which i can think about each morning when I open your package. This week I placed an order for 8 more bags. This time just the Tarrazu. I'm sure my taste-test will prove itself over time. If I should tire of the Tarrazu I now know what my #2 or 3 choice will be. I think my husband & I will be longtime subscribers to Britt. P.S. Customer Service was terrific.

Was given a bag of this wonderful coffee for a house warming gift and I am hooked. It has the most incredible flavor and aroma I just can't get over it. The best coffee I have ever had and can not get enough of!!!!

We received a package of Tarrazu Montecielo from a friend who traveled to Costa Rica. I put it in the freezer and just recently opened it up... The minute I smelled the aroma, I was excited. I am drinking a cup right now and I am AMAZED...!

Grown in the rich volcanic soils of Costa Rica’s famed Tarrazu region, these choice Arabica coffee cherries are ripened evenly at 1,400 to 1,600 meters, hand-picked, sun dried and dark roasted for a unique taste. Café Britt Tarrazu will surprise you with a flavor that hints of cacao and grapefruit and an aroma of aged wood and dark chocolate. Its intensity fills the palate, then fades cheerfully.

The beans from Tarrazu mature slowly, learning patience from their infancy. Sheltered by the Pacific mountain range, these sought-after beans share their sanctuary with colorful birds and enchanted forests.

Small towns and villages, each named for a patron saint, speckle this high-mountain region. Generations of farmers known for intense dedication to their craft have grown these particularly hard beans on small plantations nestled in valleys and perched on mountain slopes. The beans ripen slowly; requiring coffee pickers to visit each tree three to four times, plucking only the ripest beans, which are then dried under the Costa Rican sun.
