5.0 Bring home the flavor of Costa Rica

by Stan " The Blues Man" from Montreal, Quebec, Canada on May 9, 2009

I use it daily. I enjoy Lattes, Cappachino, or just a fresh brewed cup. I recently ordered 20 bags to give out to my customers that usually make me coffee. I know they will love it as much as I do.

5.0 Quite possibly, "the best!!!"

by Rick The Fisherman from Elkton, Oregon on May 6, 2009

A little taste that makes us a little less homesick for our second home, when we have to be up North at our first home. A product that brings images more effective then words, when trying to explain the meaning of, "Pura Vida". The most requested gift from friends and relatives to bring back with us!

5.0 My Favorite Coffee

by Kevinconroy from Washington, Dc on May 6, 2009

Tarrazu is one of the best Cafe Britt beans. The beans smell wonderful and create a delightful cup of coffee. I highly recommend this as well as the Tres Rios and the Poas.

5.0 Just what the doctor ordered

by Judy From Colorado from Franktown, Co on May 6, 2009

We recently joined your coffee club because we enjoy your coffee so much. We had received samples as a gift. We recently took a trip to New Mexico and took the samples with us. It was so nice to get up in the mornings and enjoy a good cup of coffee. It made our vacation much more enjoyable.

Product Detail

From rocky ground

Experience Tarrazu Montecielo, a blend for the coffee connoisseurs with a penchant for perfection. Grown in the rich volcanic soils of Costa Rica’s famed Tarrazu region, these choice Arabica coffee cherries are ripened evenly at 1,400 to 1,600 meters, hand-picked, sun dried and dark roasted for a unique taste. Café Britt Tarrazu will surprise you with a flavor that hints of cacao and grapefruit and an aroma of aged wood and dark chocolate. Its intensity fills the palate, then fades cheerfully.

  • 100% Arabica SHB (Strictly Hard Bean).
  • Kosher certified.

Coffee Connoisseur

The beans from Tarrazu mature slowly, learning patience from their infancy. Sheltered by the Pacific mountain range, these sought-after beans share their sanctuary with colorful birds and enchanted forests.

Small towns and villages, each named for a patron saint, speckle this high-mountain region. Generations of farmers known for intense dedication to their craft have grown these particularly hard beans on small plantations nestled in valleys and perched on mountain slopes. The beans ripen slowly; requiring coffee pickers to visit each tree three to four times, plucking only the ripest beans, which are then dried under the Costa Rican sun. Café Britt works directly with family farmers to continue the nurturing process of these special beans. From the plantation to your cup, this coffee is patiently cared for with integrity each step of the way. The result is a strong coffee that fills your palate with unparalleled aroma, excellent body, and acidity reminiscent of sweet grapefruit.

Take your time... enjoy every sip.
