deep and rich, this coffee is a great example of Tarrazu. And best of all, you can count on it having consistent characateristics

5.0 coffee

by Diana Taylor from Ilderton, Ontario Canada on Jun 20, 2010

About 2 years ago we visited Costa Rica and was introduced to their coffee. We brought home a case but soon ran out. We tried many different coffees but did not enjoy any of them. One morning after trying another rather distasteful coffee I had enough and looked on line to see if I could find Cafe Britt. I immediately order 50 bags of Tarrazu and 2 days later was enjoying my morning coffee again. The coffee and service are awesome.

5.0 Tarrazu Montecielo

by Deryl from Vancouver, Wa on Jun 20, 2010

Purchased this product in Puntarenas, Costa Rica, back in 2006 while on a Panama cruise tour. Make a pot or two daily, while at work...and, my co-workers stop by my cubicle to see if they can have a splash...or will I make another pot so they can have a full cup. I have tried other Cafe Britt coffee selections, but I always come back to "my Tarrazu."

My husband and I have been ordering online since our Costa Rican tour in 2006. We have Tres Rios every now and then. We continue to debate between these two varieties - resulting in a continual longing for more of your exotic line!

Coffee Connoisseur

The beans from Tarrazu mature slowly, learning patience from their infancy. Sheltered by the Pacific mountain range, these sought-after beans share their sanctuary with colorful birds and enchanted forests.

Small towns and villages, each named for a patron saint, speckle this high-mountain region. Generations of farmers known for intense dedication to their craft have grown these particularly hard beans on small plantations nestled in valleys and perched on mountain slopes. The beans ripen slowly; requiring coffee pickers to visit each tree three to four times, plucking only the ripest beans, which are then dried under the Costa Rican sun. Café Britt works directly with family farmers to continue the nurturing process of these special beans. From the plantation to your cup, this coffee is patiently cared for with integrity each step of the way. The result is a strong coffee that fills your palate with unparalleled aroma, excellent body, and acidity reminiscent of sweet grapefruit.

Take your time... enjoy every sip.
