This is one of the best coffees I've had in a long time! My sister visited Costa Rica this summer and gave me a bag as a gift, and before I finished the bag, I ordered another bag from the website, as well as some extra bags for Xmas gifts; the taste is simply marvelous!!

There are 30some pages of reviews here. What more could I add? Everyone's right on. Let's see....Okay, If you like light roasts, you will be very happy with this one. If you love darker roasts, consider this one as a palate cleanser or as a summer coffee (hot, not cold). When you think about it's fresher citrus notes, it's a cup of spring. When you consider it's more subtle caramel and pear notes, it's a cup of fall. This is a lovely roast.

I am a fixed-income retiree and have been enjoying Britt's Costa Rica Light Roast for years now but the recent price increase started me looking at alternatives. I found a Seattle blend which is not quite as good but acceptable and $4.00 per bag less. Also, I used to buy the 10-bag package but I live alone and the 20-bag offers bring the price back down to affordability but are just too large for me. I'm afraid it would get stale and don't even have a place to store it. I miss the product though.

I typically like light/medium roast over a dark roast. I'm not sure why most coffee is a dark roast honestly. This coffee does not disappoint. If you like a light roast, this is the best light roast coffee I've ever tried. I will be buying it over and over again.

As a child some 60 years ago, my mother used to take me shopping with her to old San Juan. In a corner of one of its legendary streets there stood a sort of general store, from which always emanated a rich, distinct aroma of coffee brewing. Years went by, and along the way I tasted different kinds of our local Puerto Rican coffee, but their smell never matched that which I had filed in my memory since my childhood. Your Light Roast Ground coffee has definitely revived all those pleasant memories: it's the same aroma, and the taste is sweet, and gentle, not like burnt wood or recently dug soil.
