5.0 The basic is the best

by Jenniev from Sylva, North Carolina on May 6, 2009

Of all of the coffees that I have consumed from across the world, Cafe Britt remains my favorite, and their regular light or dark roasts are still the best. They got everything right in this coffee. I have yet to find a smoother or more pleasing coffee.

5.0 My First Cup of Coffee

by Jack from San Angelo, Tx on May 6, 2009

I am in my sixties and have been a coffee drinker since I was a teenager. My wife and I had our first cup of Cafe Britt Light Roast a few years ago at our son's house after he and his wife had returned from touring your plantations in Cost Rica. The taste experience was so satisfying it was if I were driniking my first cup of coffee ever! Now we serve it to our friends and I send bags ofit home with them. We take it with us when we travel so we won't be without it. It's simply the world's greatest coffee!

5.0 Excellent Coffee

by Moogsurfer from Cape Coral, Fl on Feb 5, 2009

I am a connoisseur of coffee and have always bought Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. But when the prices got outrageous I searched for alternatives. I have to tell you as a Blue Mountain coffee drinker paying $20 plus for a half pound, I was so impressed with Cafe Britt! It is every bit as good and the price is awesome! I am a hard core buyer now!

Coffee Connoisseur

The Costa Rica Light Roast delivers a crisp, consistent flavor that is ideal for your morning cup. Each year, our master cupper canvasses Costa Rica’s Central Valley, selecting the best harvest for our Costa Rica blends. The outcome is a reliable flavor, year round... Our efforts produce a highly aromatic, perfectly balanced blend that holds its qualities year round — a real treat!

To craft our Costa Rica Light Roast, we roast the beans in small batches until they achieve a light, caramel color with just a touch of shine. The resulting mild flavor is well balanced with a full body. Each bright sip delivers a light citrus aroma and subtle flavor of caramel and apricot.  Experienced tasters may even discover a hidden undertone of malt.

Aside from your morning cup, this blend can also add a depth of flavor as an ingredient in baked goods. Mild enough for novices, yet consistent and flavorful enough for aficionados, the Costa Rica Light Roast is everyone’s friend.
