5.0 Cafe Brit: A Cup of True Bliss

My day can't begin without a truely great cup of coffee. Some say I am a purist where coffee is concerned. Cafe Brit Dark Roast has been my brew of choice for over 30 years. In the morning when I open my bag of rich, dark coffee beans the intense aroma instantly transports me to lush and misty Costa Rican jungles and miles of sun drenched deserted beaches. My fragrant cup of Dark Roast cafe con leche invites me every day to a few moments of pure bliss. I love to try new coffees but I always find myself choosing Cafe Brit. The numerous selections offered by Cafe Brit fit my coffee needs perfectly. I wish it I could buy it in the grocery store. Thank you Cafe Brit for an excellent product.

Began using the product on vacation to Costa Rica, What a great surprise. continue to use it as a wonderful reminder of a great place. We have switched from other coffees from other areas and have become Cafe Brit snobs.

Britt’s Costa Rican Dark Roast is the reason the why world loves Costa Rican coffee – its taste is as enticing as its aroma.  Our experts select the beans for this classic blend from different parts of the Central Valley, where a combination of climate and soil produce the world’s best coffees.

The Central Valley’s high altitude causes the beans to mature more slowly. This makes them harder and less porous. Hard-bean coffees have higher acidity — a quality that brings out the coffee’s greatest aromatic features.  Hard beans also stand up well to a darker roast.  

Our Costa Rica Dark Roast is roasted until the beans show a dark chocolate color and some of their natural oils begin rising to the surface. This gives the brewed coffee a stronger flavor and heavier body.  Your senses will discover hints of figs and red wine, with a dried-wood undertone.
