I myself drink the dark roast whether here or in CR. I really enjoy it, but I brought back some of the Tarrazu for my coworkers and that was surprisingly good as well.

We visited Costa Rica about 7 years ago and very much enjoyed the tour put on by drama students. At that time we decided we would try shipping a box of dark roast coffee. 7 years later we are still ordering Cafe Britt coffee and serving it to our B&B Guest. It is a good product. Kidd's B&B

I had the opportunity to be in Costa Rica about 12 years ago and that's when I initially experienced the Britt coffee = excellent, balance and smooth flavor, not bitter at all. I found out several months ago, that anybody can now get this delicious coffee on-line and get an excellent and speedy delivery to your own home. I recommend this coffee to my friends and acquaintances.

This coffee is excellent!! Has a rich bold flavor that goes down smooth. I travel extensively with work and this coffee has ruined me from drinking any other type. Everything else on the road tastes awful so I have to bring Cafe Britt with me.

The Central Valley’s high altitude causes the beans to mature more slowly. This makes them harder and less porous. Hard-bean coffees have higher acidity — a quality that brings out the coffee’s greatest aromatic features.  Hard beans also stand up well to a darker roast.
