We were introduced to Cafe Britt on a trip to Coasta Rica. Every time the aroma reaches us, we are back again in our minds. Having seen the carefully tended trees in the shade of volcanoes, we appreciate each cup even more. Nothing tastes quite like Cafe Britt!

5.0 It smells and tastes great!

I only allow myself one cup of coffee a day so that one cup has to be really worthwhile...and this one is heads above many other brands I've tried. At Xmas I give bags of Cafe Britt coffee to various friends and acquaintances I want to acknowledge without making a big deal of buying a present.

i fresh grind this product a little at atime (enough for a couple of days). i have ordered this several times since returning from costa rica and will continue to do so , we also order the organic blend which is just as good

I've searched far and wide for a good coffee for the past 25 years. Then 4 years ago I was served the best coffee I've ever had! It was the Cafe Britt Dark Roast! It is so smooth and doesn't have that "acidic" nature that many coffees leave in your stomach. We drank it the whole time we were on vacation, and when we got back home, that flavor was impossible to match! So, I went online, found Cafe Britt, and ordered a case of it! I've been ordering ever since! Now I order enough for family and friends which gives me free shipping! You can't beat that! Now people are asking me when my next order will be placed because they want more! Looks like I'll be filling a few Christmas Stockings with it!

Britt’s Costa Rican Dark Roast is the reason the why world loves Costa Rican coffee – its taste is as enticing as its aroma.  Our experts select the beans for this classic blend from different parts of the Central Valley, where a combination of climate and soil produce the world’s best coffees.

The Central Valley’s high altitude causes the beans to mature more slowly. This makes them harder and less porous. Hard-bean coffees have higher acidity — a quality that brings out the coffee’s greatest aromatic features.  Hard beans also stand up well to a darker roast.
