5.0 Cafe Britt Expresso

Toured the plant in San Jose a few years ago. Expresso is my favorite of all I've tried, but I make it as regular coffee in a nice drip pot. Outstanding! Also shipping is super quick to here.

5.0 Best coffee yet

After doing the Britt Coffee Lovers Tour in Heredia late last year (2009), I bought a couple of bags of the Expresso Roast (whole bean) to take home, I received so many comments/compliments regarding the coffee 'best I've tasted' etc. When I finished my 2 bags, I tried many other beans from numerous sources, but the Britt Expresso is far superior to any bean I can find here in Australia, so I now have it shipped to my door down under...

After visiting coffee bean plantations in Costa Rica, we fell in love with the quality of their beans. Then we were introduced to Café Britt, and discovered we could get the awesome quality of Costa Rica in Canada! We tested all other beans available, and found Café Britt Espresso had the most flavour, throwing the best crema of all its competitors - including Illy! And the price, shipped to our door, can't be beat! Keep up the fabulous work Café Britt!!!

Many people mistakenly believe that espresso is a particular variety of coffee. Espresso results from the process of roasting and brewing.

The best espresso comes from high-quality, well-roasted beans, finely ground and pressure-brewed in an espresso machine.  Properly brewed, the “small shot” is crowned with a layer of rich, dark-golden cream or crema.  

The Café Britt Costa Rica Espresso blend begins with the finest beans from Costa Rica’s Central Valley.  We dark roast the beans until their natural oils and sugar rise to the surface.  The result is an espresso with a fruity flavor that hints of apple and wild flowers.
