5.0 You've been fooled by BRITT Decaf coffee

My son-in-law's parents are from Columbia. One day I made a pot of Britt Decaf for them.(We have been using Britt Decaf whole bean for 7 years). I told them the coffee I made was Regular brew from Columbia. After enjoying it, I told them the truth and they were very impressed by the taste. Now whenever they stop by to visit, they always ask me for some of that "great coffee" of mine. Thanks Britt for setting some Columbians straight about great Costa Rican Decaf Coffee!!!

5.0 Great coffee, every time!

We went on a Panama Canal Cruise in 1999. The hotel we stayed at in San Jose, Coasta Rica had Cafe Brit coffe in the room. We liked it so well that I saved the bag. When we got home I went on line to order Cafe Brit. We have purchased nothing but Cafe Brit since then! (When ever we have guests over, they always comment on how good the coffee is!)

I recently had a child. All health providers recommend the limit of caffeine, so I was extremely happy when I ordered the Café Britt Decafe. It helped me get my coffee fix from the excellent flavor. I continue to drink the decafe because sometimes the flavor is what I am looking for, not the caffeine buzz.

Costa Rica Decaf by Cafe Britt is the best coffee I have ever drank. My son brought me some back while he was on a Mission Trip to Costa Rica. I was thrilled to find Cafe Britt's website and be able to order more coffee. I have told several people about. It is even better than Kona coffee, most people think Kona coffee is the best. They need to try Costa Rica coffee.

Coffee Connoisseur

By the time our Costa Rica Decaffeinated splashes into your cup, it has completed a notable journey.   Destined for great things, the coffee beans originate in the Central Valley, where a unique climate and favorable altitude produce some of the world’s best coffees. 

From our Costa Rican highlands, the coffee beans make their first journey to Europe where they undergo an indirect-water process that removes their caffeine without sacrificing their flavor. This process mixes water with steamed beans to draw out their caffeine.

The caffeinated water is then separated from the coffee beans and 99.9% of the caffeine is removed.  The final step reintroduces the decaffeinated water to the beans restoring any flavor that may have been extracted during the process.

The primed coffee beans return home to Costa Rica where we dark roast them.  Whether you sip coffee all day or drink a cup with evening sweets, our Costa Rica Decaffeinated blend delivers all the flavor, without the caffeine. Sweet dreams!
